What to Expect During a RainDrop Session?

A Raindrop Technique session works a lot like a regular massage session. You will be asked to derobe and get on the massage table face up to start. Your therapist will sychronize energies with you first and will then perform spinal Reflexology on your feet using medicinal grade essential oils. You will then be asked to flip over on your stomach and place your face in a face cradle. This exposes your back so that the therapist can place all the needed essential oils on your spine. The session ends with a hot pack unless it is a Raindrop for MS.

Reiki FAQ:

What is Reiki?

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900's. Reiki is administered by "laying on hands". Techniques such as these have been practiced for thousands of years in Asia. Reiki is a very simple but yet powerful technique. There are different levels of Reiki "attunements" that students receive by their teachers or masters. There are four levels of Reiki proficiency: I, II (Practitioner), III (Master) and IV (Master/Teacher). Reiki practitioners heal by channeling "The Universal Healing Energy That Permeates All". The main benefits of Reiki are stress reduction, relaxation, bolstering the immune system and restoring balance to the body, mind and spirit.

What to Expect During a Reiki Session?

Reiki sessions can last anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour depending on patient needs and/or financial constraints. It is advised for first time patients to schedule a one hour session on their first visit. This allows time for the practitioner to get to know you, create a care plan and take care of your biggest issues.

You remain fully clothed for a Reiki only session and lay on a massage table for treatment. Meditative sounds and/or music are played during the session to enhance your relaxation and focus. Your practitioner will first give you and the room a spiritual clearing and blessing before beginning. You will be asked to state your intention for the visit. Your practitioner will then "turn on" his or her hands and begin your healing session. During the session you may feel hot, cold and/or tingling sensations throughout your body and that is normal. This is the body's way of releasing negative energies that could be related to emotional, spiritual, physical or mental trauma or illness. During your session you may be asked to concentrate on a color and/or breathe in a color and/or concentrate on a word. It is important during your session that you tell your practitioner what you are feeling and where. Your practitioner will end your session by closing your Chakras and giving you a spiritual blessing and protection. It is recommended that you do not consume alcohol or caffeine before your session.

What is Intuitive Counseling?

During a Reiki session the attuned pracitioner may receive a channeled message for you from their Reiki spirit guides. These messages can be quite helpful for you to resolve spiritual, mental and emotional issues. The message will help to unblock your energy in key places within your body.

Receiving Intuitive Counseling can be of great benefit to help resolve some of life's great questions and can help resolve some mystery diseases, pains and aches. Quite often these types of undiagnoseable problems are really being caused by spiritual, mental or emotional issues from your past.
